Best Buy Neon Signs, originally named, H&K for Hiddy& Kyoko, then soon changed named to Abis Signs, was founded in a small Glendale apartment in Los Angeles, CA by husband and wife Eddie (Hiddy) and Kyoko Takahashi.
Where it all started. First hand painted signs to be sold!!
Following Eddie's American Dream he had Paul Simon songs in his head and art in his heart. It all started from hand painted signs and evolved to a full warehouse cranking out all sorts of high profile signs. During his 34 year career, Eddie has contributed to the evolving the sign world by inventing the Mega Smart Neon and The Prizim Sign. Ever notice those green ATM boxed signs???
Through the years, we have had to adapt. From sign painting and neons being outdated, to the recession, we have evolved from a warehouse, to an online business representing local neon benders that meet our quality standards. We are able to provide our clients industry, leading expertise while shopping for the best price and need of each client.
Today that torch is being passed and the second generation is embracing the art of neon for a whole new audience. We believe no matter what the year, glass neon will present a nostalgia no other signage can recreate. We believe in preservation of what fed and provided of us through the years and happy to share our experience with you.
